Why Stop Loving the World?

The scripture reading for the Lord’s message to us this morning is taken from 1 John 2:15-17. It’s entitled: Why Stop Loving the World. I invite you to turn with me to these verses as I read.

1 John 2:15-17. 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Thank God for the reading of His Word. The Lord’s messenger this morning as we come before the Lord to hear His Word, the message is taken on the theme of Christian living. The theme of Christian living begins with salvation in Jesus Christ. You will recall the time when you first turned from sin and turned to Christ and you trusted in the Lord Jesus to be your Saviour and your Lord. You will remember that. And you experience peace with God. All your guilt like a big burden, like a rock on your back, rolled away. Your sins were forgiven. You became a child of God; a citizen of heaven and you might not be jumping up and down but you experience the joy of the Lord in your heart like never before. And that is how we all started when we were converted to Christ by the mercies and the Grace of God. Now the big question then is that having started well, how are we doing today in Christian living? It is God’s will that every one of his children grows up spiritually. In real-time, in the real world, in Christian living. Therefore, can we say that we are on course, growing spiritually in Christ despite the distractions and the temptations trying to lure us to turn away from God? What does it take for us to remain on course, safely making progress in our spiritual walk with God? How do we as pilgrims and fellow travelers navigate safely through this world with its many traps and minefields spiritually speaking? And the answer is found in our text right here in 1 John 2:15-17. Love not the world or do not love the world. Stop loving the world. The Bible tells us that the world can be a great hindrance to our Christian living. And spiritual growth if we do not take heed to the word of God. Love not the world. Now we need to understand what the world is before we stop loving the world. What is the world? There are 3 different meanings. Firstly, the world is the physical world. The Greek word is ‘cosmos’. In Acts 17:24 we read,

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

The cosmos is the universe. An orderly complex system that God made. It speaks of God’s creation, vast orderly design, and beauty. The opposite of orderliness is chaos. We thank God for the beauty of his creation: orderly, not chaotic. So this physical world that God has put us in is not confusing. There is no confusion between day and night, and we thank God that he has put us in this physical world in which we live. Secondly. The world means the human world. John 3:16 tells us,

16 For God so loved the world

And this is the human world of men. Of people with body and soul that God said he loved. Sometimes these 2, the God-created world, as well as the human world, appear together. How we see this in John 1:10.

10 He [that is the Lord Jesus] was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Jesus was in the world that is the earth on earth and the world that is the earth was made by Him and the world that is the human world, the people of the world knew him not. From here we know that love, not the world does not mean that we hate the created world or that we hate people. No. We thank God for his Providence through creation. 1 Tim 6:17 tells us that,

17 the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

The Bible tells us to love people even as God so loved the people of the world in John 3:16 that we read earlier. We love people regardless of who they are. Friends or foe. To show God’s love for them and to reach out to them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In other words, love not the world does not mean we are to hate the physical world. It does not mean we are to hate people of the world. And so this is the first 2 meanings. Now there’s a third meaning of the word ‘world’ that we are not to love. And this has to do with the corrupt system of evil under the control of Satan that dominates the world. The Lord Jesus calls Satan the prince of the world (John 12:31). The Bible tells us in 2 Cor 4:4 that,

4 In whom the God of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The world we are commanded not to love is the evil corrupt system energized by the devil, run by unbelieving people who hates the true living God, who hate Christ, who hate the truth, hate the Bible. And they will try everything within their means to prevent people from hearing the gospel and also to try to stop believers from living for Christ. And this is the evil system of the world run by unbelievers blinded by the devil to hate the Lord Jesus and all that He stands for. This is the world that hates believers also who follow Christ. Now, why does the unbelieving world hate Jesus even today? Is there a reason for that? The Bible tells us that Jesus came from heaven. To die for our sins on the cross to set us free from the slavery of the devil and from the bondage of sin and yet people rejected the Lord Jesus Christ. Why. You know why? Because in John 7:7 Jesus testified against the evil of this world saying,

7 because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

 In John 15:22 Jesus said,

22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak [or no covering] for their sin.

You see the unbelieving hate Jesus because it exposes and it convicts them of their sin. They hate what the Bible teaches: that all have sinned, and that judgment is coming for them. They reject the love of Christ for their souls. It is, therefore, no surprise that Jesus said in John 15:18 to believers,

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you

And again, in John 15:19. Jesus said,

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

The Bible tells us that believers in Christ are not of this world. We are in the world, but we are not of this world. We are in the physical world, but we have nothing to do with the corrupt immoral wicked system of the world out of which Christ has delivered us. The unbelieving world we live in today is steeped in darkness and sin. Therefore, as believers, as children of light, we are commanded not to love the world. To stop loving the world. And this is because to love sin and to love evil is to be on the side of Satan. Now we are no more allegiance to the devil. Therefore, we are to hate sin and evil. And this is consistent with the holy character of God. The Bible tells us that God hates evil. In Psalms 97:10 the first part we read the psalmist praying and also exhorting the Lord’s people he says,

10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:

Psalms 119:104

104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

Psalms 119:128

128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Psalms 119:163

163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

This is a humble prayer of the psalmist who loved God and hates evil. In Proverbs 6:16 -19, God’s word tells us That God hates specifically the sins that are listed here. Proverbs 6:16-19 says,

16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

If you notice here, the eye, the tongue, the hands, the feet, from head to toe, sin is mentioned, and it’s all driven by the heart that is evil and is against God. An unregenerate heart. And so we need to check ourselves. With this list that God has given to us, that He hates sin. And here we see that God hates arrogance. In Psalms 101:5 we are told again that God hates high looks and proud hearts. God hates a lying tongue. Schemers.  Plotting the downfall of others, sowing discord among brethren. And the Psalmist also in Psalms 97:10 again says here,

10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:

And so you see here the same attitudes and actions that we see in 1 John 2:15. Love not the world. Stop loving the world. It is very clear that if we love the world or if we really love the Lord it means that we love what the Lord loves and hate what he hates. And that is the reason why we read in 1 John 2:15,

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

You cannot love God and evil at the same time. If a person loves the corrupt evil system of the world and opposes God and reject Christ, he/she does not have the love of the father in him/ her. If a person loves sinning, not giving up his sinful lifestyle and continue in that, then he or she does not belong to God. It is clearly stated here in the Bible. But if we hate what God hates and loves what God loves then we show that we truly know the Lord as our heavenly father. So it is either love the world or love the Father. We cannot have both. There is no middle road and so, this morning what is your choice? God’s word is very clear. There are 2 points that we need to obey. What are the 2 points that we need to obey? Firstly, we must not love the world of evil because of what it is. It is in allegiance to the evil one. Secondly, we must not love the world of evil because of who we are. In Christ, we are children of light. No more children of darkness like before. In John 8, the unbelieving Jews, we read, insisted that because they were Abraham’s descendants, therefore, they were God’s children and that is what they said to the Lord Jesus and what did the Lord Jesus say of their unbelief? Jesus said in John 8:44,

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Now, these words do not just apply to the unbelieving Jews. It also applies to unsaved people and also to Christians who outwardly claim that they know the Lord but by their lifestyle show that they do not really know the Lord in their hearts. They are not true believers. A Christian may have, we claim to have a Christian name or even say the sinner’s prayer but show no evidence of faith in their lives and so these words apply to the person that does not really know the Lord. And the reason for saying this is not out of anything against anyone. The reason for saying this is out of love. That those who do not know the lord might realize their true standing. As wretched depraved sinners before the holy God and that they might repent from their sin and turn to Christ and be saved. For only in this way can they become children of God and then to begin to live the Christian life by obeying the Lord, obeying his Word: love not the world. The apostle John then goes on to explain why believers must not love the world and also the things that are in the world. Verse 16,

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Here’s a third point. And that is we must not love the world because of what it does. So there are 3 things here that the world tempts us to do. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Firstly, we look at the lust of the flesh. Now, what is the lust of the flesh, and what is the flesh? The flesh here refers to the sinful nature of the fallen nature in every person in the world. And this includes Christian believers as well. The Bible tells us that because of the flesh, our sinful nature, we have sinful desires and cravings. Now God has made us with passion and with desires. Therefore, to satisfy these designs in accordance with God’s word is not wrong. God has given us richly all things to enjoy. There is nothing wrong for instance like eating and drinking and sleeping, having children within marriage. However, when the sinful nature of the flesh takes control over our passions to disobey God’s word, it becomes sinful lust. The lust of the flesh is desire locked under the control of our sinful nature. And this is what the corrupt world energized by Satan does to us. To try to lock us in by the lust of the flesh and here is where believers must know how to keep themselves from falling to the lust of the flesh. Our Lord Jesus in his high priestly prayer for believers in John chapter 17 teaches us that we are in the world that is this earth, but we are not of this world. Not of this corrupt immoral world. And here we see our unique position in Christ. As believers, we have two natures in us. On the one hand, we have the residue of that flesh that is the old nature also called the old man. On the other hand, we have a new nature also called the new man when we surrender to Christ when we first surrender to him and we’re born again by the Holy Spirit. And that is why even though we already have a victory in Christ we still have to battle with the old man in Christian living and this struggle within is real. The New man wants to please God to obey God’s word, but the sin nature wants to disobey God and to draw us away. So there is a fight within us and we all know that as believers. And that is why we read in Gal 5: 17 God’s word tells us,

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

And what are the works of the flesh? Well the works of the flesh is given in Gal 5:19-21 stated here

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

So, these are the works of the flesh, and note this: they that do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Now it doesn’t mean that a person who does these things cannot be saved. He or she can still be saved. On one condition and that is to flee to the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness to repent of sin for only Jesus saves there is no other way of salvation. Jesus can save the worst sinners even the apostle Paul who at one time even persecuted the church of Christ and yet the Lord Jesus turned him around on the road to Damascus. And he turned a murderer to become a preacher even an apostle of his. So, God can save even the worst of sinners. And so you might be the worst of sinners, you might think that your sin is so bad that you cannot be saved but God can do that if you turned to him and get right with him through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. So this morning would you turn to the Saviour Jesus who died for you and rose again from the dead and the Bible tells us whosoever, anyone who truly believes in him can have his sins forgiven and life everlasting and citizenship of heaven. Now perhaps you are saying God is love yes, he understands that I cannot control myself. Since God is love, therefore I understand that he loves me even when I cannot control myself. That is to say, I can indulge in the sin of the flesh and get away with it. My friends. Do not be deceived by such kind of thinking because the Bible says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And after death, the bible tells us there is judgment. Man die once but after this the judgment Hebrews 9:27 says,

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

And the fact that the Day of Judgment has not come for you is because of God’s common grace. God’s common grace. God’s common grace is his goodness to all people. God sends the rain to fall on all people out of His common grace. So, God’s common grace in His goodness to all people while we are all alive on earth. But the moment death occurs, there is no more common grace. And so, while there is still life in the nostrils. Please consider very seriously these words again: that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God and may the love of God convict your hearts. And touch the lives, touch your heart because the Bible says that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and to Jesus Christ and be saved. Now we look at believers. How do we gain the upper hand in our struggle against the works of the flesh and to enjoy the victory that we have in Christ in Christian living? Now we find the answer in Gal 5:16.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

How to walk in the spirit? To walk in the spirit, we walk in the light of God’s word. We feed on the word of God. We do not feed on the lust of the flesh. We do not feed on things that draw us away from God. Whatever that is. The problem with us is many times, we do not feed on God’s word. We feed on things that we know are not acceptable to God. On social media, anything that we know can draw us away from God. Thank God for social media there are good things there but if we feed on things that appeal to the sinful nature of our hearts then it’s going to draw us away from God and that is not walking in the spirit that will be walking after the flesh. And so we are to feed on the word of God. To obey God’s word not just know it. Read it but also to obey and then the Holy Spirit will enable us to live righteously. To live in a way that God is pleased. To give us the victory over the lust of the flesh. Why? Because the Holy Spirit he told in Gal 5:22-23 that the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace longsuffering gentleness goodness meekness faith temperance. And this is contrary to the lust of the flesh that only the Holy Spirit can produce in us a life that is pleasing to God. And so we are to take heed and do our part. The second reason we look at. The unbelieving world uses the lust of the eyes to tempt us and trap us. The second thing that the unbelieving world uses to tempt us is called the lust of the eyes. Now while the lust of the flesh appeals to the old nature and to tempt us to indulge in sinful activities, we must realize that the entry point to this lust is through the “eye-gate”. In the days of the apostle John, the Greeks and the Romans live for entertainment that appeals to the eye that excites the eye to the lust of the flesh. And it is the same today. The world seduces us through what we see. The eyes are the entry point for the world to tempt us into sin. And now to be sure God has given us the desire to own things, to possess things. But then the lust of the eyes wants more and more. Not satisfied with the one more and more and that is greed. That is covetousness. The lust of the eyes goes for things that we do not need. The lust of the eye prompts us to buy things beyond our financial means. For instance, to acquire things with virtual money that we do not have or take, for instance, God has given us a love for beauty. Photography is an amazing tool. An eye-opener to the beauty of creation. For instance, we see the beauty of God’s creation. The universe the orderliness and purpose and design for the glory of God. Also, we see how God created Adam and Eve. We see the beauty of the human body. Adam and Eve: two become one in holy matrimony in the Garden of Eden for the glory of God. For God’s purpose and for the purpose of procreation of children. But then the lust of the eyes of the sin-loving world has perverted that beauty into something else. Into adultery idolatry even pornography. Speaking of the lust of the eye, the Lord Jesus Christ said in Mat 5:27-28.

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

And so here we see that adultery comes through the “eye-gate” when the heart goes after the things that are not pleasing to God that is contrary to what God says in His Word. And so that’s how a person, how we sin against God through the lust of the flesh. How then can we have victory over the lust of the eyes? In the chorus that the children sometimes sing in Sunday school: be careful little eyes what you see. And so, the point here is that what we see affects our hearts. And so we ought to pray. We ought to borrow the prayer or echo the prayer of the psalmist. For example, in Psalm 119:37,

37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding [or looking at] vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

Turn my eyes unto thee O Lord. Turn away my eyes and song that we sing the chorus:

Turn our eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
in the light of his glory and grace.

What we see, what we look at is that direction we will go. And so we look at Jesus and we will want to follow him and go His way. Now there is a third point why we must not love the ungodly system of the world. And that is because it uses the pride of life to try to draw us away from God. The pride of life. What is this pride of life? This pride of life is about self-importance, self-glory. It is about exalting ourselves above others. It is to impress other people by making ourselves more than what we really are in the eyes of man. Now, this does not mean that we don’t give our best in serving the Lord as good stewards of his gifts to us. We must continue to give our best to the lord. But we must realize how easy it is to commend ourselves. Especially in times of success in times of doing very well and we commend ourselves at the expense of giving glory to God. We do that at the expense of giving glory to God who has given us the wisdom, strength, and privilege to do our part. And we do not put him first. Proverbs 16:18 says,

18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

You would remember what Nebuchadnezzar the proud king of Babylon said about his achievement and glory. We read in Dan 4:30-31.

30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? 31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

Pride cometh before destruction. And immediately Nebuchadnezzar was driven out of his palace into the field to live like a wild beast eating grass like an ox until his heart was humbled. And so Proverbs 29:23 tells us,

23 A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

And this again reminds us of how Adam and Eve were tempted by the devil and that led to the fall of men and to sin as recorded for us in the book of Genesis. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Gen 3:6 reads,

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And that was the fall of man and so Satan today is still using these tools to tempt us. Even our Lord Jesus Christ was tempted in the wilderness and yet Jesus Christ said it is written, it is written the word of God and he uses the word of God to overcome. To have victory over all these temptations and snares that the devil hurls upon Christ and upon us who are believers even today. So in summary God is teaching us from his word that the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. Therefore, to yield to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and pride of life is to love the world and if any man loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. How then are we to love God and not love the world? How then do we continue to love God while we live in this sin-loving world? Verse 17 gives us the answer.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

And the point here is that we must not love the world because of where it is going, where it is heading. And the world passes away and the lust thereof. This earthly world we live in is not going to be here forever. Just look at how the world is running down, the earth is running down today. You’re seeing climate change, natural disasters, typhoons, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, rising sea levels just to name a few. And then look at the number of deaths by COVID 19 pandemic today. How sad. And what about those dying of hunger due to shutdowns and lock-ins in many countries today. What about the potential conflict between the great powers of this day. The conflict point that we see in the Middle East and the South China Sea. We see the military building up and this building up can be very scary. It is not for a bedtime story. It is real. Any miscalculation on the part of men could ignite global destruction. The catastrophe that could well destroy the whole world. The only thing that is keeping some semblance of peace right now is because God is in control. God is in sovereign control over all things and is working on his plan and purpose even though this crisis that many, hearing the word of God through believers might come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I realize that this world is not something the lasts forever. This world is only a temporary place. For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul and we pray that through the love and care of God’s people for those who do not know God, know the Lord during this time that they might come to believe and put their faith and trust in Jesus and be saved. And so the point here is because this present world is in a self-destruction mode. We must not be mesmerized by this present corrupt system of the world with all its lust of sin is heading for doom, heading for destruction. And it will face the judgment of God sooner or later. And there is no escape the Bible tells us. But then here’s good news. The good news here is but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. To do the will of God is to obey his word. It is in God’s word that we know His will. And here is the emphasis is that if we say that we loved God and not the world then the proof of it is to obey God’s word. For Jesus tells us very clearly John 14:15

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Do not just say you love me; you love me but show it in your life. Show it by your actions and that is to keep God’s commandment with joy and with love for the lord. The command for believers is to stop loving the world and the way to do that is to keep on believing, trusting, and obeying the word of God. And that is how we will abide with Christ forever. The world is only a temporary place. One day the Bible says it will be consumed by fire. And while it is still kept by the common grace of God. It Is our prayer that many of God’s elect might turn to Christ even now but we are to get the gospel to whosoever, in many countries, in wherever we are and we thank God for the privilege to be able to be a part of Ministering to the foreign workers who are staying across our church, the 2 blocks here. Thank God for the church is able to put packages together, 1000 packages for them. And we just pray that through the love of God’s people that they might see the love of God and in God’s own time they may come to know Jesus Christ as well. And so the point is that this present world is in self-destruction mode and we must not be mesmerized by it. But to those who love the evil of the world, God’s word says that you’ll actually lose everything. Not just everything when death occurs. But also, be sentenced to eternal hellfire according to the word of God. But for those who know the Lord Jesus Christ because of our faith and trust in him the Lord will see us through this world even to bring us safely into heaven and there, we will abide with the Lord forever. Worshipping him and praising Him. And so this morning the apostle John put before us 2 contrasting lifestyles very clearly. A life lived for God, for eternity, made available only through the Lord Jesus Christ or a life lived for self. For the temporal dissatisfaction of the here and now but it is doomed because there is no hope. What is your choice today? How would you live your life and for believers let us realize our time on earth is only for a short while? We do not live until very long. 70 years average? We could go to 100 years and thank God for that but it’s always for the purpose that we are witnesses for the Lord to do his part. And while we are alive on earth living for Christ let us always beware that we can very easily fall into the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. And the way that we can have victory over this is to feed on the word of God. Turn our eyes to the Lord Jesus Christ and feed on the word of God. Meditate upon it love the word, obey, and do it. And the Lord by his spirit will continue to enable us to live for him, producing in us the fruit of the spirit so that we will continue to hate the things that sin and love God and love what God loves. Matt 16:26 again remind us,

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

God’s word this morning teaches says that there is one type of love that God hates. And that is the love of the world that hates God. The love of the world that hates God. And this morning we are reminded that we must not love the world. And that is the present imperative meaning to say continue not to let the world, in other words, stop loving the world. We must not love the world because of what it is. It is allegiance to the devil. Secondly, we must not love the world, stop loving the world because of who we are. In Christ we are children of light at one time we were children of the devil, but God has delivered us out of darkness into his marvelous light. And so we do not love the world because of who we are. And then thirdly, we must not love the world because of what it does. It tries to tempt us through the lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and the pride of life. And then fourthly we must not love the world because of where it is going. It’s heading for disaster. And therefore, we who know the truth, must be well prepared. We must warn ourselves. We must forewarn others as well so that they will not go in the broad way and that leads to destruction but go to the narrow way. The way that leads to God. The way that Jesus came to give on the cross of Calvary for the salvation of those who put their faith and trust in him. For Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life John 14:6. Jesus Christ is the only way, He is the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by me, by him, the Lord Jesus. And may the Lord’s word this morning speaks to our hearts and draw us even closer to him for believers; so that we’ll be equipped to live victoriously for the Lord in Christian living. And for anyone who is still strangers with the Lord may the Lord’s word touch your hearts. May the Lord’s word Bring home to you to realize how much God loves you and that salvation, everlasting life, forgiveness of sins, set free from the guilt of sin are all available to you in Christ if you would only turn to the Lord Jesus Christ today and put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus.
